ETA 3: I just edited the final portrait as something was bothering me and I finally figured out what it was. His hair was far too light. The smaller image on the left is the original completed version and the larger one on the right is corrected. I figured I would include both for those interested.

So, I've been working on this digital painting for about a week now and I've decided to call it done. I'm quite happy with it, despite its painterly look. But since I've never been one to strive for extreme realism in my work, that suits me just fine. :D
