I just have to get this off my shoulders...

I really really really hate it when I receive comments on the various websites I post my art on (namely Renderosity or DeviantArt) that are so immature...

Case in point, my last image (entitled Taboo II) recieved the following comment: 

She "has delicious boobs."

Gee, thanks, but when I asked for feedback, that's not exactly what I was looking for... 

Yes, she's a nude...her "boobs" are showing... but there's a difference between artistic nudity and pornography... A BIG difference. You don't go around saying how much you love or don't love the "boobs" on Bonticelli's Birth of Venus or Manet's Olympia or any of the other countless artistic nudes throughout history. Well, maybe the guy who love the oh-so-though-provoking comment on my image does... *eyeroll*

What I was looking for was comments on lighting or composition or any of the other artistic techniques, etc.

*sigh*  Whatever....

I have no problem receiving critiques on my work.  In fact, I expect it.  

But, it annoys me to no end when someone gives a "critique" that is vague in its vagueness.  Critiques like "His eyes don't look right,"  "Something's off," or "Nose seems odd" are not helpful.  They just leave me pondering what they're seeing wrong.  And I'm usually left confused.

Why don't you frigging tell me what exactly is wrong?!  Is that so hard?  How can someone improve the image when they don't even know what's wrong?
